Hardware infrastructure of OPH cluster grows by contributions.

The added HW can be:

• Shared-use nodes: everybody can submit jobs that will run on the new nodes; contributor increases fair-share quota for the afference sector
• Exclusive-use nodes: only the users identified by the contributor will be able to submit jobs on the new nodes till the end of the project; when the project terminates, nodes become shared-use but fair-share quota is not changed
• Shared-use storage: For every 12TB-disk (11TiB) worth, the contributor gets ~4.3TiB ¹⁾ net space reserved in /scratch/contributor/ ; for technical reasons disks must be added in multiples of 10 (2 replicas of 5 disks in RAID5)
• Exclusive-use storage: Contributor must acquire a suitable set of servers (multiple of 3) and enough disks to configure a dedicate volume; once the project ends, the volume is removed and space is reallocated to equally increase the quota of all sectors
