==== Contributing ====

Hardware infrastructure of OPH cluster grows by contributions.

The added HW can be:
  * **Shared-use nodes**: everybody can submit jobs that will run on the new nodes; contributor increases fair-share quota for the afference sector
  * **Exclusive-use nodes**: only the users identified by the contributor will be able to submit jobs on the new nodes __till the end of the project__; when the project terminates, nodes become shared-use but fair-share quota is not changed
  * **Shared-use storage**: For every 12TB-disk (11TiB) worth, the contributor gets ~4.3TiB ((12000GB * 0.5 (2 replicas) * 90% (10% is "OPH quota") * 4/5 (RAID5 of 4+1 disks) )) net space reserved in /scratch/contributor/ ; for technical reasons disks must be added in multiples of 10 (2 replicas of 5 disks in RAID5)
  * **Exclusive-use storage**: Contributor must acquire a suitable set of servers (multiple of 3) and enough disks to configure a dedicate volume; once the project ends, the volume is removed and space is reallocated to equally increase the quota of all sectors
